Road legal suzuki ltz400 with 440 big bore. 2003 model Road registered in 2005. Modifications done by previous owner and I’ll list what I can remember! Quad has been Sorn for quite sometime and not used. I did put a battery on it over a month ago and it did start and run, go into gear etc. Has no MOT but sure it would pass if someone mechanically minded gave it some tlc.
Pro’s;
Nearly new front tyres, rear still have plenty of tread.
Upgraded front suspension from newer model.
K&N air filter box.
Front and rear wheel spacers.
Suzuki skid plates.
Monster exhaust as new and loud.
Forged piston.
Hot cams and upgraded cam chain.
Yamaha YFZ450 calipers on front wheels.
Porter and polished head.
KTM 525carb.
Dyno tuned after the work done.
Con’s;
Been stood for a long time so will need service and new chain and sprockets deffinately.
Has been used both on and off road so has age and wear related marks.
Indicator strip lights are wired up but have weathered and come unstuck, so would need either new indicators or new adhesive.
No speedo (I used GPS on my phone)
Switch for horn was a bodge to get it through last MOT.
Amazing quad bike when up and running, fast and torquey. Can be a wheelie machine if you push too much throttle. Any questions welcomed and I’ll attempt to answer
