Black Leicester Longwools for sale. I am sadly selling all my Leicester Longwools. I have four ewes, with four ewe lambs and one tup, all registered. The ewes are 2 years old, 2 x 3 years old and one 5 year old, the tup is a shearling and he sired the lambs, which have turned out great this year. They will make an excellent starter flock for someone who is interested in taking on sheep or a new breed. Leicester Longwools are one the rarest native sheep in Britain, with only between 500 to 900 breeding females and the blacks are the rarest. They are a very large sheep, but very friendly and steady to handle, gentle giants. All the adults have had halters on. Their fleeces are much sort after.
They have been vaccinated with Heptavac-P, wormed and protected against flystrike.
I would like them all to go together please, so £1000 for all nine sheep.
