Bield Housing and Care are looking for a volunteer to help with tenants at our Lammermoor Gardens development in Kirkintilloch.

Our volunteers help reduce isolation and loneliness by supporting older people in a variety of ways.

We are looking for a Volunteer to come in and assist with a Bible Reading and Hymn Singing Service which takes place just once a month. The Volunteer would need to be happy helping set up the room and also serving tea and coffee to the tenants who come along. The commitment is no more than a couple of hours once a month but you can give more time if you feel you would like to.

Throughout your Volunteering with Bield you will be supported by the Local manager and you also receive all your out of pocket expenses.

If you have an interest in older people and feel that you have the time to commit to this we would love to hear from you. You will be making a real difference.
